An attempt to unify Core Range Algebra, Range Constructors, and Attributed Range Algebra into a single paper.
A note on this page: this is an unfinished, unpublished draft, posted for completeness alongside the papers it was meant to unify. Its final section, “Application to XML,” never got past outline notes, and it shares several [TODO: ...] placeholders with the Range Constructors draft above, since both grew out of the same working document.
This draft folds Core Range Algebra, the Range Constructors idea, and Attributed Range Algebra into one self-contained paper, complete with its own table of contents running from the base sequence/range data types, through regular-expression-based range construction, to attributed ranges, and on to a projected — but never-written — section applying all of it to XML. It’s the most complete picture of how this whole series was meant to fit together as one body of work, even though it was never finished or published as such. The two standalone papers on the site are the parts of this that did get finished and cleaned up.
